  • Add 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large soup pot and heat it.
  • Add 1 yellow onion and 2 tbsp chopped garlic in this oil. Cook until they get soft.
  • Now add 1 bunch of kale (stems removed and leaves chopped). Stir and cook for about 2 minutes.
  • Add 8 cups of water in it.
  • Also, add 1 blanched tomato, 6 cubes vegetable bouillon, 2 cans beans, 6 white potatoes, 1 Italian seasoning, and parsley.
  • Simmer the mixture on medium heat for about 25 minutes, or until potatoes are completely cooked.

Directions:

  • Heat 2 tbsp each of olive oil and butter in a big pot over medium heat.
  • Add 1 onion, 1 clove garlic (minced), ½ cup diced carrot, and ½ cup celery. Stir all together until it softened.
  • Then, add 2 tbsp dried parsley, 1 tsp dried basil, 1 bay leaf, 1 pinch dried thyme, 2 cartons chicken broth, and 1 can crushed tomatoes. Bring to a boil.
  • Lower the heat and simmer until heated through, 10 minutes.
  • Now, stir 2 cups shredded cabbage, 1 can light red kidney beans, and ½ cup quinoa into the soup.
  • Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until quinoa gets tender.
  • Finally, garnish with ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional). Soup is ready.

  • Heat them all on a medium to high heat. Saute for 1-2 minutes, then add the fennel and garlic.

  • Add about 2 liters of water and 1 tbsp miso and 1 bouillon cube.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for at least 5 minutes.
  • Next, in another pot boil some water. Cook any noodles of your choice as per the instructions on the package.
  • After preparing the noodle add them into the soup.
  • Turn off the heat, wait for 1 minute more.
  • Finally, you can sprinkle some of the green parts of the spring onions.

  • Add 1 lb broccoli (cut into florets), 1 tbsp of thyme leaves, ¼ tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper. Saute them for 5 minutes.
  • Add 3 cups vegetable broth and bring it to a boil.
  • Add ¾ cup of each frozen peas (thawed) and cooked lentils (green or brown).
  • Cook for additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until vegetables gets tender. Cool it slightly. Add spinach to soup pot.
  • After that, pour soup in blender or food processor until it gets smooth and creamy. Transfer soup back to pot, and heat the soup over a low flame until it gets hot.

  • Place 1 oz. dried mixed mushrooms in a bowl and cover with 2 cups of boiling water.
  • Cover and let it sit for at least 1/2 hour. Prepare the other ingredients while mushrooms reconstitute.
  • Separate the mushrooms from the hot water and keep the liquid for the soup. And, slice the mushrooms thinly.
  • In a soup pot, add 6 cups of water with the reserved liquid from the mushrooms and the sliced mushrooms.
  • Bring the water to boil over medium to high heat.
  • Add 3 tbsp sherry cooking wine, ¼ cup vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1-½ tsp of kosher salt, 1 tbsp grated ginger and 1 pound tofu (extra firm). Cut the tofu into ½ inch cubes.
  • Lower the heat and let it simmer uncovered for around 10 minutes.
  • Take a small bowl, whisk 2 tbsp cornstarch with about 3/4 cup hot broth from the soup pot until cornstarch gets dissolved.
  • Transfer the mixture back into the soup pot and keep stirring. The soup will thicken slightly.
  • While stirring continuously, drizzle the 2 beaten eggs into the hot soup.
  • Add 6 scallions and ¼ tsp white pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • You can drizzle of sesame oil on top. Soup is ready.

  • 4 Zucchini medium
  • 4 to 6 kale leaves
  • 3 to 4 green onions scallions, spring onions
  • 2 Carrots

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 bunch parsley fresh
  • Handful of cilantro coriander, Chinese parsley
  • 3 tomatoes or 1 can organic chopped tomatoes (no salt added)
  • 3 Cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbsp Bragg’s liquid aminos or tamari (avoid for low-sodium & migraine diet)
  • 2 tbsp of seaweed flakes or 1 to 2 sheets nori, toasted, then crumbled ( avoid for migraine diet)
  • 2 tbsp of teff seeds or amaranth seeds, (it is optional)
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Procedure:

  • Wash all the vegetables listed above (Zucchini to Garlic).
  • Pulse each through the food processor til they get finely chopped. Make sure that you include the kale stems; they have all the potassium in the kale.
  • You can keep a little parsley for garnishing, if desired.
  • As you proceed, combine each veggie to a big, heavy-bottomed stock pot. Add 1 liter filtered or spring water.
  • Add liquid amino, seaweed, and the teff or amaranth seeds, if using.
  • Bring it to boil, then reduce the heat, cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes.

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

  • Remove the tops of the 2 leeks. Slice up the stalk. Wash the leaves well and keep aside.
  • Add 2 tbsp butter to pot and turn up the heat.
  • Then add everything except chicken broth, leaves, and milk.
  • Mix it up, then add to the broth. Now add some leaves up in the pot. Bring the soup to boil and lower flame to a simmer.
  • Let it simmer for an hour or until vegetables get tender.
  • Finally, cream the soup with a blender. Mix in the milk. Add salt and pepper as per taste

Ingredients:

  • 820 gm of pumpkin, diced as half-moon pieces
  • 1 onion, peeled and diced
  • 8 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
  • 450 ml of water
  • 200 ml of fresh milk
  • 1 sprig fresh Rosemary
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Procedure:

  • Pre heat the oven at about 150 degree Celsius. Separate the seeds of pumpkin.
  • Add 1 tbsp of olive oil over the pumpkin.
  • Roast it for about 15 minutes with a sprig of fresh Rosemary.
  • After 15 minutes, leave the pumpkin to cool. Remove the skin and cut it into cubes.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a sauce pan.
  • Saute garlic and onion for 2 minutes.
  • Add the pumpkin and saute for further 3 minutes.
  • Pour in 350 ml water and bring it to a boil. Close the lid and let it simmer for 8 minutes.
  • The pumpkin should be softer by this time.
  • Leave the soup to cool down a bit.
  • Transfer the soup into blender and blend till it gets smooth.
  • Reheat the soup with 100 ml of water and 200 ml of milk.
  • Add salt and pepper as per taste.

  • 1 T of olive oil
  • water

Procedure:

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan on a low to medium setting.
  • Add ginger and shallot to it. Saute them for about 3 minutes.
  • Then, add 3/4 frozen peas, stirring for a minute.
  • Add sufficient amount of water to cover the peas. Cook over a medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  • Allow the soup to get cool enough to place in a blender.
  • Add soup and fresh mint and blend the combination.
  • Add salt and pepper as per taste.
  • Transfer the soup to the pan and add remaining of the peas. They will defrost a bit in the warm soup but will retain a bit of pop.

  • You can cut the carrot up into smaller pieces to reduce the time.

  • Boil 1.5 liter of water and cook your veggies. Pour out excess liquid before blending the soup so that puree is not too thin.
  • Chop celery, bell paper, onion, and spinach. Add them to the pot.
  • Cook these vegetables over a medium heat for 15 minutes, covered with a lid. Cook until they get soft.
  • Turn off the heat and add 2 garlic cloves and blend with soup.
  • Add some cream or coconut milk if you want. You can also sprinkle with some more freshly ground black pepper.
