Items that could be present anywhere, from your store room, your refrigerator, your kitchen to the long forgotten cupboard. Prickly heat can be treated in the comfort of your homes. Before we begin, let’s have a look at some of the aspects which result in prickly heat in the first place and how do you know if you are suffering from it.

Symptoms of Prickly Heat

1.) Red Lumps Appear On the Skin

Prickly heat occurs due to the constant blockage of the sweat glands. It can in time lead to infection and cause the skin to enlarge and finally form a red lump.

2.) Sticky Skin

Due to the constant blockage of sweat glands, the skin starts getting sticky. There will be times when your clothes get stuck to the skin and cause immense pain. Many at times even leading to public embarrassment. Make sure to wear loose clothes during these times.

3.) Development of Rashes

After the development of the lumps, rashes will start appearing over the affected area. The rashes can vary in size depending on the intensity of the prickly heat. The rashes can be the basis for immense pain and allergy all over the skin.

4.) Irritation and Stinginess

The most despised part of the whole process is when the stinging like sensation appears. There is a weird suffering as soon as anything comes in contact with the prickly heat affected spot. The second point along with this can make for a perfect nightmare. Moreover, it is bound to happen when you least expect it. Think public places.
