1.) Bananas for Stomach Flu Treatment

The Banana is one of the most widely consumed fruits in the U.S. Banana helps in binding the intestine from losing out the fluids and nutrients of the body. The potassium present in banana is also helpful in for gaining back lost minerals, which are lost by vomiting and diarrhoea. Banana is rich in Vitamins C and B6. Banana also helps in reducing swelling and increasing immunity.

Take a banana peel it and have it in the morning.

Take a warm glass of water mix 2 tablespoons apple vinegar and take it daily. The other way of using it is made a toner to apply to your stomach. Mix the apple vinegar with water and spray every night on your stomach before going to sleep. The skin of the stomach will absorb the vinegar and the muscles of stomach will get relaxed.

Take a glass of hot milk not boiling milk and a piece of toast. Take a sip of hot milk and a bite of toast. For better result avoid heavy meals and spicy food.

If you are distressing from a stomach ache and diarrhoea due to the stomach flu, then the best home remedy is the rice water. It is a bland food that works like a demulcent to help lower swelling of the intestinal lining and lessen pain.

In an open pan, boil six cups of water with one-half cup of white rice until the rice is soft. Strain and let the water cool at room temperature. Add a half spoon each of cinnamon powder and honey. Drink the warm rice water gently every hour. Repeat this remedy for a week.

12.) Garlic to Cure Stomach Flu

The other popular stomach flu natural remedy is garlic, because of its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Not only this, it also, soothe the internal lining of the stomach, providing you instant relief from gas, cramping, bloating and indigestion.

Add one teaspoon of raw chopped garlic in a spoon of honey. Swallow it fast after preparing it. Follow the method three to four times a day for a few days to boost up recovery.

A large number of the symptoms of stomach flu will diminish within 48 hours. But, if you are not feeling well after two to three days, consult your doctor fast to avoid a more serious condition.
