1.) Drink Plenty of Water to Prevent Oily Skin

Drinking plenty of water can actually help you to prevent many skin problems such as oily skin, pimple, and acne. It prevents the breakouts in your skin by hydrating the skin. Moreover, it flushes out extra oil and toxins from the body and keeps your skin healthy and supple. Drink 8-10 glass a day. Make sure after waking up the first thing you do is drink a glass of water. It will not only be beneficial for skin but for overall health as well.
2.) Wash Your Skin Twice a Day to Prevent Oily Skin
Washing face not only helps you to get rid of the dust but of extra oil as well. Especially if your washing with the mild cleanser. Excess oil and dust clog the pores which lead to whiteheads and blackheads, thus, the cleanser comes at the rescue. It cleans the pores and gives you glowing and healthy skin. So wash your face 2 times a day, especially in the morning and in the night before going to bed. However, use warm water to wash your face. Dip a cotton ball into the cleanser and dab it over the T point, including nose and forehead first, as these areas are more vulnerable to oil. Then gently rub cotton ball over the cheeks. Leave it for a few minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Since toner rips off the oil from the skin so you might feel dryness. To get rid of the dryness, apply a light moisturizer. A face mask keeps the excess oil away. Moreover, it cleanses your skin deeply which a cleanser or face wash cannot do. However, apply a natural face mask using Shea butter, honey, lemon, cucumber or Aloe-Vera or any other natural ingredient. First rinse your damp face with the warm water, then apply cleanser and last face mask. To keep the oil at the bay use the light moisturizer which do not have the high content of oil. Moreover, some of the sunscreen creams also have oil content so check the ingredients before buying the cosmetic. Oily skin causes acne, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads and other skin problem. So make sure you apply correct moisturizer. Also, don’t use cold creams or lotions as a makeup remover, especially if you have oily skin as it can leave the greasy film on the skin which clogs the pore.

If you want to prevent the oily skin then apply tea tree oil on your face once in the week. If you find it strong then you can dilute it by adding a few drops of water to it. It not only prevent the oily skin, in fact, it removes the tanning as well. You can make a homemade scrub with it. In a half tablespoon of lemon juice add a pinch of salt. Apply this solution on the T-zone, covering cheeks, forehead and chin. Leave it for a few minutes and then rinse it. It will unclog the pores and remove the oil accumulated in the skin.
9.) Cinnamon to Prevent Oily Skin
Cinnamon has all the medicinal properties that keep the pH level of the skin balanced and oiliness at the bay. In a tbsp add honey and lemon to it. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Wash your face and apply this paste. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse it off with the cold water. After it apply moisturiser. Do this 1-2 times in a week to prevent the oily skin.
10.) Oatmeal to Prevent Oily Skin
Oatmeal work as a natural scrub. It removes the dirt, bacteria extra oil accumulated in the pores. It prevents the occurrence of the blackheads, whiteheads, acne and pimple as well. In a bowl add tbsp of oatmeal, grams flour, a pinch of turmeric and lemon juice. Mix it well and apply it on your face. It will work as a mild cleanser.
