1.) Ice to Remove Redness of a Pimple
An ice pack or cold compress slow downs the blood circulation, which in turn reduces the swelling and redness around a pimple. Ice packs are easily available in the market. However, you can make your own ice pack as well. Take a washcloth and wrap a few ice cubes in it. Your home made ice pack is ready to use. Hold it against the affected skin. Make sure you don’t exert pressure while holding the pack otherwise it will pop a pimple which will spread the bacteria. More bacteria mean more pimples and more redness. So be careful while doing so. And do not apply ice directly on the affected skin. Same remedy can be used to treat acne redness as well.

Yes, eye drops! Apart from treating the redness in eyes, the medicine also works as a remedy for redness of a pimple as well. It contains tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride, which treats the redness. Put a few drops on a cotton ball and gently dab it over the affected area. For sparing results soak the cotton in the eye drops and refrigerate it. Place this cold cotton ball on the redness. White toothpaste contains silica, which dries a pimple and treats the redness of a pimple. Apply pea size toothpaste over a pimple and gently spread it on the entire redness of a pimple. Leave it for a few hours, then rinse it off. The best time to apply it is before hitting the sack as the paste gets ample of time to treat the problem.
P.S- Avoid transparent toothpaste and the toothpaste which contains menthol and fluoride.

The citric acid present in the lemon juice combat with a pimple and gradually reduces the dark color of the pimples and redness around it. With the help of a cotton ball gently dab lemon juice over the affected part of the skin. If you find it strong, then you can dilute it by adding water to it.
